Nashville Predators: +145
Pittsburgh Penguins: -165
Well for anybody who is unaware of the betting world, this makes the Penguins a pretty strong favorite. In all seriousness, you can understand why, winning last year, having the experience and also having Crosby and Malkin doesn't hurt right?
The Penguins though have played three tough physical challenging matchups, does fatigue have an impact in any way? Hopefully for them, they are using this short break wisely and trying to heal any nagging injuries.
Personally to me, the Predators have felt like the magical team all postseason long. Once they swept the Blackhawks in such impressive fashion, you knew this could be the year. This is gonna be a hell of a series, guarantee that. I'm predicting at least a six or seven game series in the forecast. Experience to me might give the ultimate edge to the Penguins but this run in Smashville might just lead straight to a parade. Also, If Pekka Rinne continues to play lights out, he single handedly might just bring carry this team to a final win!
More to come on this series from On The Bleachers soon!
